Go back in time for the latest edition of Distant Replay! And this one's a gem. The 1983 All-Star Game at old Comiskey Park. It was the 50th Anniversary of the very first All-Star Game held at Comiskey Park in 1933. As a rookie, Ron Kittle was the White Sox only All-Star. Kittle joins the podcast to talk about his memories of this historic game and playing in front of the hometown fans (13:00). After losing 11 straight All-Star Games, the American League crushed the National League 13-3, thanks to a grand slam by Fred Lynn (34:00), the first and only grand slam in All-Star history.
